The word "Client" may be misleading: Is it a company or a person? Therefor I suggest to use the term "Client company" instead of "Client" throughout the whole application.
when I translated the app into German I was also worried about that wording. IMHO "client company" is good but I translated it in "weitere Firmen" ("additional firms") because in our standard project setup we not only have a client (or various departments of a client's organization) but also sub-contractors.
If we will change it to owner firm and additional firm it will be clear that this is an owner firm installation and that the owner firm has additional functionalities, like private messages or private files.
What do you think?
Perhaps there is a native english speaker in the project team who can tell us whether "company" or "firm" is more common in that context? To my ears "firm" sounds rather unfamiliar.
My suggestion would be: "Owner company" and "Partner company". (In our agency we often refer to "client partners", so the word "partner" is quite flexible and may apply to clients and sub-contractors. On the other hand "Additional company" is rather unspecific.)
What if one of the "team" has only one person in it ? You can't all one person a "team".
I agree, "Client" might be too restrictive for certain project, maybe something like "Participants", "Contractors", "Collaborators", "Contributors", ... somethings not as framed as "Client" because it describes a "Seller->Customer" relationship.

In English, Client defines a specific relationship.
Psychiatrists, Investment Advisors, Lawyers, and Hit Men have clients.
Most other companies have "customers", however, I think that the generic "Teams" or "Companies" or "Organizations" might be more appropriate.
Although, "Clients is fine too".

I agree a more generic term to refer to the "Participants", "Contractors", "Collaborators", "Contributors" or something like that would be more appropriate than assuming a Seller <> Client relationship. Seems like this could be updated fairly easily in the next version and the specific wording used may vary from one language to another in the various translations.
