a system to bundle links and research

I saw another post ( http://www.projectpier.org/node/612 ) but am looking for something a little different than an object type or messages.
Specifically, it would be nice to have a separate list of notes, with a link able to be associated to each note. The purpose is that, on any given project, the groups I work with accumulate many lists of links of sites that have potential ideas that we like, products we might want to buy for use in the project, etc.
There is currently a wiki addon patch in the issue tracker. It might be able to solve your problem at a pinch http://projectpier.org/node/894
