wrong time problem

Hello everyone.
I've got PP up and running and come across an odd problem.
The time is an hour behind - messages etc are incorrectly labelled as being posted an hour earlier. Server is GMT with daylight saving activated. I've edited php.ini and added
date.timezone = "Europe/London"
To no effect. If I set the server time to (incorrectly) read an hour ahead, timestamps within PP are then correct. It's a workaround, but then I have to disable timeserver sync as otherwise it will reset it back to the correct time so it's not ideal.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Hi Gaz,
there are indeed a couple of bugs or at least missing feature regarding the date and time.
I believe the daylight saving time is not taken into account unfortunately. I don't know the details but I remember that I had some discrepancies on that side...
