is there campfire like addon available?

Hello guys,

I would like to know is there any plugin available for PP like campfire addon in basecamp?

If not, is there any guide available for developing plugin for PP?

No campfire addon at the moment. Plugin architecture in the work

Hi keviin6,

there is no campfire addon available at the moment.
That possibility was discussed in the forum (http://projectpier.org/node/284) and the issue tracker (http://www.projectpier.org/node/287) but never came to fruition.

However there were some discussions and initial patches to have a plugin system:

If you are interested in working on something like that, I suggest you join the IRC channel (http://projectpier.org/irc) to discuss the feature itself or get some help on the plugin system. I know that Alex., for example, is on the channel pretty often and has developed a plugin.
You can also join the development mailing-list (http://projectpier.org/node/397) to lay out your vision of the feature and its implementation and discuss further what's possible...
