Odd Milestone Date Discrepancy

The due date displayed in the Milestones areas shows the milestone correctly as, "Email 2 (4 days late) Due date: Monday, 21 July", but when I switch to the overview page this is displayed as a late Milestone like this, "Email 2 (Sunday, 20 July - 4 days late)"

Weird, huh. Not sure what is going on here. Any ideas?

Hi Tate,

it's most likely related to that issue:
http://projectpier.org/node/646

There was a problem in calculating the number of days left for milestones that was corrected in one place but not the other one unfortunately.

I must admit that overall the management of dates and time is not working very well :-/

Tim

I appreciate all the great support you offer here Tim, thanks.

Ya - I think I applied a different patch already that impacted another time issue. This isn't a huge deal to me right now, but when I have some time to apply the patch I'll try that.

I'm not well versed in all this, so, I'm thinking it might be time for me to try to set up a local server that I can run some of these patches on and just upload them to the production site from there.

I just re-uploaded the original files to remove the changes I made to make Kemie's Marine theme work since I like that ZURA1 theme so much and I would have felt more comfortable doing that as a dry run first.

Anyway, thanks again for the good advice.

Tate.

Hi,

I've tried for a couple hours to get the last patch that is in this thread to work, but I can not. No matter if I try to perform it on a whole PP back-up I have on my mac or if I copy the two files it seems to be trying to patch into a directory with a copy of the patch and perform the patching instructions sited in the thread I just keep getting all sorts of errors.

I'm using a 8.0 install since the most recent versions broke my embedded google calendar and caused me to revert so that I could keep them on the front page. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

If I just had the patched files themselves I've had better luck with that in the past, but it keeps failing at certain lines.

Tate.
