Hi - I just installed a clean version of ProjectPier 0.8.0.3 downloaded from ProjectPier site directly and I am having the issue mentioned as a bug in the previous versions. The difference is "recepient" is spelled correctly above so I didn't apply the patch that was suggested when I searched the forum...
Any other suggestions. I haven't tried anything else yet. I don't want to start using it and then it not work... so, I want to make sure some of the routine items are functioning properly.
Thanks!
Sergio
Applied the same patch for other versions. Not really a patch - it's a "find and replace" project. The contributor TIM created a text file with the lines that need to be edited in php... so for those of you who are kinda new to this like myself... use an editor and change the words RECEPIENT to RECIPIENT... the text document shows you where it is more or less that you need to change... in 0.8.0.3 I didn't have to change the notifier.class.php document... it seemed to be correct. Tested and worked perfect...

Good Luck!

corrected. same stuff. white screen only. :(
no luck.
the problem is "test mail recepient" should be "test mail recipient".
modified it the problem will be solved.
Thanks for the kindness from the GOD.
I know that this is an old thread, but I had the same issue from a download that I got just a week or 2 ago so it seems that this is still a problem.
Anyway, applying the patch on my server was a bit problematic so I just "patched" the files myself. What the patch does is find and replace certain lines in 3 different files:
I think that it would be great if we could provide the updated files for download here as another way to fix this. Then people could just upload these new files rather than apply the patch. I would be happy to provide the updated files so that people can just upload the updated files to their server rather than having to apply the patch. Is there an easy way to upload files here?
In the mean time, if you look at the text of the patch you can probably figure out which lines need to be altered and how. Then just use a text editor to manually make these changes and upload the updated file.
I hope that helps.
Hey folks ... thanks for your efforts and input, but does anyone have a viable solution to this issue?
I have tried the patch solution multiple times, but still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Why not spend time on 0.8.6? It will be stable December 30th.
