With projectpier on an indefinite hiatus, you may want to try OpenGoo which is based on ActiveCollab but has an user experience of it's own. You know it's roots when you do the install, login and use some of the features. OpenGoo considers itself a web office and not a project management or collaboration tool,but it's project management and collaboration capabilities are in place based on it's core being ActiveCollab.
