I am receiving the following message "Failed to connect to database with data you provided" in Step 3.
I am ProjectPier into a sub domain and cant seem to work out whats going wrong.

Have you created a new database and are you sure you have the correct username and password? These steps are done outside ProjectPier in advance of running the ProjectPier installation.

I'm using media temple. I've created my database and entered in all the relevant information (including the mediatemple host which is not localhost) but I keep getting the Failed to connect to database error. I've set up wordpress blogs, zenphoto galleries, and modx websites all using the same information (different database for projectpier) but for some reason it won't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone else have this problem?
