Hi I have just installed 0.8.0.3 I'm a designer so not technical at all.
The application is working perfectly fine, but I don't seem to receive any email notifications and I even tried to sent out a Test Mail but still didn't receive anything.
I have checked my spam and sent test emails to other email accounts and still nothing.
My web host allows SMTP and PHP mails to be sent out and no ports are blocked, as I have contact forms on my other sites and they all work perfectly.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I'm sure its just a configuration problem. Should I use the default PHP setting or try SMTP?

If the default PHP isn't working, try SMTP.
Hi I have tried SMTP as well but it still doesn't work. I can't seem to understand why.
My server works fine with PHP script and SMTP as I have used these in the past and they work perfectly.
Can you direct me to any other solutions or could it be the configuration settings? I have seen this problem occur with other people as there are other threads in this forum with similar problem.

i'm having the same problem and have tried pretty much all the suggestions in the forum.
I've been at it for 4 days, it's doing my head in.
I'm having the same problem too. I've setup my mail account exactly as I did in Outlook and my emails aren't being send out! Did anybody solved this?
