entites shown both on emails and site

hello everyone,

first of all thanks... this software's great!
i installed projectpier on my server and started testing it... the only problem i found so far is that using the italian translation both in email subject and in some pages of the website messages appear with html entities in stead of the correct carachters... i think they are escaped, so that if the languages/it_it/emails.php file has something like "è" it gets "&egrave" when used in website and headers...

how should i get rid of this?
