access project pier from another machine on the network

Hi everyone
I am having some trouble accessing the project pier index page from another machine on the network.
I have Xampp set up on a mac and can easily access the Xampp start page from any machine using the ip address 192.168.0.111
however when I type the following - http://192.168.0.111/~clegg
it can't find the projectpier index page. I can access it locally but I want to be able to access it from any machine on the network. Hopefully someone has solved a similar problem.

Hi, any chance of a breakdown of how you got it to work?
I'm running mamp and PP 0.8.0.3 on mac,
I can access other macs on the network via a browser using
http://(mac's ip address here)/~mac02 (or which ever number mac it is)
but i have no luck getting to the Projectpier via this method.
This only works if you allow "Personal Web Sharing" in "System Prefs > Sharing > services" Plus this method only seems to see what's in the "sites" folder (in the User folder).
It's bad enough i could only get PP to install on my desktop.
other than that i'm not sure how to get the browser to point to PP from one of the other macs in the network.
Plus i can't make sense of the other post you found.
Any clues or help would be awesome.
