Using "messages" for decisions and assumptions

One of the common things that happens during a project is when assumptions are made that need to be shared with the project's community at large. Another thing that I come across is this idea around "decisions". There are constantly decisions made by various leaders in the project that not only need to be communicated, but there needs to be a log of where all of these live. Using "messages" is not only a great way to facilitate the communication, but also a great place to reference these items.
Currently you can only tag the message and search for the tag (if you remember that overall decisions are tagged with a special string). This is somewhat uncomfortable.
The more often used way to file that info is by putting it in a special folder - therefore I filed a feature request which should be in the next release (http://www.projectpier.org/node/197).
