Need to add message tag(s) when emails sent from project pier

We are using project pier to run our IT dept and I have to say it works great. We are using messages as issues/things to do/etc. We use the tag to assign ownership.

I need to add the tag into each email that is sent when a message is posted/updated.

Can someone please point me in the right direction regarding what fiels need to be modified to enable this feature?
