I just installed ProjectPier on my web-server and it is working very well. I'd like to see more features added because I worked with Basecamp at the company I worked awhile ago. I can see that a newer version is about to be released which I can't wait to put my hands on. Anyways I just want to say that this is a really cool application and has a lot of potential.
A big thanks to the developers.
I just installed it and I am amazed by the stability and the functionality. Looking forward to working with the development team for improving this program.
So far PP is really the only good truly free alternative to Basecamp. There are a few other free ones out there that have potential but so far they miss the mark for customer facing project coordination.
Unfortunately it looks like development may be at a stand still for right now. There does not appear to be much activity in SVN, on the mailing lists or the dev parts of this site so I would not hold my breath for a new version soon. Here's hoping I am way off base on this.
BTW, I'm not criticizing since I am not picking up my coding fingers and digging in either.
