IE7 won't allow logins?

I got .8rc1 up and running on Ubuntu 7.04 LAMP. Tested, added users and clients all in Firefox. Came in this morning and tried to login under IE7, and nothing. It just blanks out the user and password and acts like it was the wrong password/user, but it works just fine in Firefox. Any Ideas?
if you check the "Remeber me for 14 days" box, an then login; it works. Maybe a bug that needs fixing?
This might be the same issue like this: http://www.projectpier.org/node/33 (just the other way round). But this is just an idea - it has to be tested.
