Ticketing on a per project basis

Hi there,

I am a new PP user and my suggestion may go against the project's culture. And since I am not quite familiar with the whole concept yet, this might sound a little fuzzy.

I don't get how the ticketing feature integrates with PP.

It would make sense to me to have the ticketing feature settable on a per project basis, and where task lists or individual tasks can be associated to one or multiple tickets.
For now, I removed my welcome project after completing the tasks and I see on my dashboard that my project has no tickets… I don't have any projects.

It appears to me as if the ticketing was a system wide feature and not necessarily bound to projects or task lists.

I would much appreciate if somebody could clarify this for me and point to a little list of best practices to get started with PP.

Tickets are system wide enabled and exist on project level.
To enable yourself to add a new project:

1) click Administration / Company
2) Lookup yourself under Users
3) Edit
4) Under Options, enable Can manage projects
5) Save

Go to dashboard and enjoy the "add project" button right of the page title.

Create a new project and see the tab with Tickets appear.
