Is there a way of compensating for the server being in a different timezone to the users?
Thanks,
Simon

Looking through the options and personal settings it seems that there's no way to control time zones if your server isn't near you. This should be changed. We should have an option at the system level as well as at the user level that lets you choose a time zone.
Maybe run everything on GMT and show all times based on the setting? This might be worth including in the installer.
I feel a bit foolish but I didn't set my own account to the correct time zone. Everything is working smoothly now.
My timezone for my company is GMT-5 (eastern)
My timezone for my user is GMT-5 (eastern)
The server I'm hosting it on is GMT-8 (pacific)
It's currently 9:18PM EST, 6:18PM PST - Friday Nov 16 in both timezones.
I have two milestones for tomorrow (Sat Nov 17) and ProjectPier is as of right now reporting that they are due "today"
Help :-)
My server is set to PST (GMT -8)
My company is setup as GMT-8 users the same...but my miles stones are one day ahead should be today and are reading yestardy...how do you resolver your timezone setup.
My server is in a diff location and time zone that me.
any Tips
Thks
It seems to be a bug of the app. See http://www.projectpier.org/node/646
I haven't looked into it yet but one could think it's not that complicated... probably just fixing where the time comparison is made.
You might want to follow that bug to see if a fix is offered later.
