Description
My PP installation doesn't remember my credentials when checking the "Remember me for 14 days" option on the log-in screen.
Is that a cookie thing, meaning a client side configuration in the browser?
... I had that "problem" also on versions prior 0.7.1 but didn't worry because my standard cookie settings are "accept nly for this session".
This problem might annoy users who use PP in a local network which is not accessible from outside. If we can't fix this it would be ok for me to remove that function completly or hide it with CSS.
There is a forum post which looks similar: http://www.projectpier.org/node/229.
didn't your internet browser remember your password for you?
If it did, that's why your password is filled out. If it didn't... well, I'm pretty sure it did :)
If you want to try, you can go into the privacy settings of your internet browser (in Firefox, that would be "Tools/Clear private data...") and delete the password information. Log into ProjectPier without remembering your password. Log out and go the site again. It shouldn't show the password. If it does, once again, I'm at a loss because only the browser can fill out the form for you. Not the cookie or anything related to the ProjectPier site.

To anyone who can reproduce this bug, can you please provide specific details:
(1) Server environment (OS, web server version, PHP version).
(2) Client environment (OS, browser, version).
(3) ROOT_URL from config/config.php.
If nobody can continue to reproduce this, I suggest we close it as "closed - not reproducible" at this point.
Feel free to re-open if this is still a problem with the latest version, but please try and provide the info Dossy mentioned.
