I know mail discussions are pretty old but...
I'm running Windows 7 and have configured PP to send mails through Gmail's SMTP. When I go to /index.php?c=administration&a=tool_test_email&active_project=8&1334606707 it sends the e-mail alright. But it does not send it in any other situation. If I create a task, for instance, and assign it to me, no e-mail comes through.
What am I missing here?
forgot to mention all this happens locally. I'm trying to make the mail templates better so I need a way to test them on my machine.
