Harvest integration

After spending an immense amount of time looking at the real issues keeping me from upgrading the "once open-source" aC. I have determined that it all basically boils down to UI and time tracking. UI, I can take care of myself to a certain extent. but the time tracking option.. thats a different story..

instead of plunking down $400 i figure i can pay for either a year and a half at basic account or get damn near 4 years of solo access to harvest..

all that would it would take to seal the deal is make project pier harvest compatible somehow like basecamp is with its API.

anyone else agree?

I was a bit confused by your post - do you want to upgrade to from aC 0.7.1 to aC 1.0? or to PP 0.8.0? Are you suggesting you'd like to donate $400 to PP instead of a commercial alternative in order to provide the features you need? I am assuming you're referring to this package when you say Harvest (http://www.getharvest.com/)

I anticipate time tracking to be included in the next major release of PP and am aiming for some type of API for the release after that. Hope that helps.

I should also mention that you can help test and develop the time tracking feature by contributing to the work being done on the relevant issue (http://projectpier.org/node/259)

well, what i was saying is that i would rather put the funds i was going to spend on aC1.0 into harvest. but i had no idea that was planned for PP! way cool! so, in the meantime ill do a little testing. if it seems to keep me from pluking down $$ with harvest, i"ll gladly donate those funds to PP. Keep it honest. keep it Open Source, and you'll never lose your following!! :)

also.. lmk if there is anything i can do to contribute to the looks of this wonderful app!

:)
