Description
I just picked up project pier today after having used aC.71 for many months. I find all of these fixed width themes annoying and not as usable as they should be. The marine theme looks great but needs to be more flexible. So I set about making the marine theme a liquid layout.
This was done at the expense of the nice background on #innerContentWrapper and the complementary bottom image on #footer. The former didn't have to go, but I didn't bother making it work for a liquid layout. The subtle, yet very pleasant, rounding effect created by the latter image was a regrettable casualty.
included is a patch which covers my changes

Cool! When I get a minute I'll take a look and see if I can make the graphics work with the revised layout :)
Maybe we can make it easy to switch between versions by commenting/uncommenting lines or switching a css file.
You could also create 2 themes, one fixed, one fluid. =)
After using my modified version for the last few days I have made a number of bug fixes and tweaks. There are still a few things for me to do and I will be working on them as they annoy me and I stop and fix them.
Mostly these problems relate to the widths of table columns @ higher res. I will be working them out over the next few days and I'll resubmit a full patch.
Ohhh, I am not doing any cross browser testing with this because I'm currently the only user of my PP install. I know there are problems with the other browsers but I am not going to take time to worry about it at the moment.
*kemie, I LOVE this theme! Excellent palette!
