Description

Would be good if the member to whom a task is assigned gets an email notification when the task is due/overdue

Agreed. Basecamp, for instance, allows you to have a user optionally receive notification of an upcoming task 48 hrs in advance. Even better would be the ability to specify when to send a reminder.

I agree, this would be a VERY beneficial tool. People work out of their email and reminders will get them to login to the project space.
I feel that it's VERY important.

This would be a great feature to add. Is there some type of mysql email client that can look at the project pier tables and kick off an email for overdue tasks?
