email when new task assigned by another user and unassigned tasks

Hi all,

I posted this recently on projectpier-development@lists.sourceforge.net, and it was suggested that I resubmit it here as a feature request:

In the case where a someone assigns a task to another user, there
doesn't appear to be an option to send an email to the assignee
informing them that they have been assigned a task. Could this
feature please be added. (I am aware that an email can be sent in the
case of milestones - but, in our situation, email notification of new
tasks assignment is important/required.)

Also, in our situation, most tasks will initially be unassigned (as we
have some members submitting new/unassigned jobs and (possibly) other
members picking up these jobs). Is there anyway that a list of
unassigned jobs could be provided, for example, on the "overview" page
- thus encouraging/making it easy to see jobs that need to be picked
up.
