Website Updates, Free Demo, and New Contributions
There have been some more changes and improvements to the projects website and community.
Donation
If you haven't noticed, I have setup a donation system for the project to help cover things like hosting and infrastructure costs. A little shameless plug, but if you feel like you have benefited from using ProjecPier or that it might have helped your business money/time/efficiency, please consider donating to the project. The donation button is over there on the left hand side, and allows you to use credit cards, paypal, and some other options.
If you're unable to donate, but still want to help - check out the other ways that you can contribute to ProjectPier
Free Demo
This has been a fairly often requested resource for new people arriving to the project and getting up to speed. I'm pleased to say the community has pulled together for us and there is now an operational demo site available HERE
New Contributions
Themes
We have a new theme available, from the same author as the most recent theme, and its now available for download. Please check out "Zura Blue Steel"
Translations
Apparently we just keep spreading around the globe.
The Russian Translation has been updated and is now available for download.
We also have new translations for Argentinian Spanish, Finnish, and Mexican Spanish!
More Developer Resources!
Code Documentation
I have introduced a new place for version specific documentation based on the actual comments within the code. Please check out http://api.projectpier.org for all your development referencing. Which brings the next feature...
Contributors Block
I have created a special part of the website to help the contributors, well, contribute to the project! If you go to your account settings, you will see a check box to enable this extra function and it will show up on the left hand side. Feel free to ask for additions or changes to this area if you think of any.
Nightly Builds
Thanks to miknight, we now have a nightly build script running and you can download them from the link in the contributors block
I have also integrated the sourgeforge website a little more by installing a redirect from projectpier.sf.net to this website.
(you may also notice dates on the news posts now)
Thanks for everyone's help!
