Show logged in users

I would love the ability to see who is logged into the system at anyone time, perhaps evens giving me a popup notifying me that somebody has logged in.

from the dashboard on the right column it shows who's been active in last 15 minutes.
maybe I don't understand what your looking for.

as dood said, on the Dashboard, you can see who has been logged in in the last 15 minutes.
I'm not sure what you would like exactly.
