Cannot upload GIF company logo with transparency

Description

Each time I upload a GIF logo with transparency (and single color), all I get is a 50x12 block with same color as that used in the GIF.

GIF without transparency and JPG are working fine.

Attached is GIF I am trying. Could this be any PHP related issue on my hosting? (I'm using Siteground shared hosting)
