Dashboard for Very Very Important Message

Hi,
You can post important message into a project and it appears on the project dashboard, that's great ... !
However, you could want to post a message for the ALL team and it might not concern a particular project .. :
a "universal" message
It could be awsome, if the administrator was able to post such a message (that will appear on the MAIN dashboard)
--> a party schedule (for example)...

I think this would be a great feature as well, especially in the case of what happened to me today as well. I'm having a problem with the dates due to Daylight Savings Time changes in Canada/US at least that's what I'm thinking it is. It would be great to post a system wide note about something like that, or "downtime" or "upgrade notices" etc.
And of course, if there's a party... right nerotulip :)
Yup. A broadcast or MOTD, or even "site news" area would be a great feature.
I wanted to post a link to Textile markup for the whole team to see but not related to just one project. Site-wide messages would be great!
I think that information about textile might be included in the next release.
Site / Project wide messages sounds like a very nice feature, though you should make a feature request issue for it ( http://projectpier.org/node/add/project_issue/ProjectPier/feature ), else it will likely fall by the wayside
