Remove 'account' tab from userbox and just add links next to 'logout'

I was thinking to myself, as I always do, how annoying it is to get to the 'my tasks' page. To me it seems like this should be available on every screen.
So looking at the 'accounts' pulldown menu I couldn't help noticing that you could pretty much remove it as long as you had a place for the my tasks link and the update profile link. the "My Projects" link is exactly the same as the 'Projects' link just below it, and the 'change avatar' and 'change password' links are available from the 'change profile' screen very easily.
So, here's what I'm proposing:
* Delete the 'account' pulldown entirely.
* where it says 'welcome back NAME (logout)' you change it to something like
"Welcome NAME - Profile | Tasks | Logout"
This would keep all the same functionality but make the user box way easier to look at while also making it easier to actually access the things that were previously in that menu. People probably won't be updating their avatars or passwords that often and I don't think having that available from every page is necessary anyway.

I'm not sure I understand. You think the links to the account options, the shortcuts to other projects and the admin links should all be removed?
No, not at all. I think that the pulldown for 'account' should be removed, and replaced with a link to 'profile' between your name and "logout".
The projects and admin pulldowns should definitely stay. The thing is that the 'account' doesn't have much in it that isn't available easily from the main 'profile' screen or within the little widget thing itself.
if anything I think we should replace the account pulldown with one for tasks that lists all tasklists. I personally spend more time on my tasks than anywhere else, though you could make an argument for other types like messages and stuff (so I'm not promoting tasks specifically). Anyway, the important thing is that the account one is unnecessary, and slows down access to the 'my tasks' link which is the one I click most.
http://projectpier.org/files/new-hud.png is a screenshot of what I'm proposing. i think it makes a lot of sense and opens up room for whatever people want to put in that space (should probably be controllable through options/plugins).
The way the logout and profile buttons are close together is, I think, very common on web apps (Wordpress for example) and most users will understand it naturally.
