Any way to change the installation admin after installation?

One of my staff set up Project Pier and used himself as installation admin. That means I cannot change his permissions, remove him from projects, etc. Is there any way to change the installation admin to another account (that is, my account)? I don't see any documentation on this. We do have access to his account to do this if needed. Thanks.
Well, we figured out that we can do it by changing the user who is assigned to user_id=1 in the database. Since our installation is new it was not too much trouble to do this on all the tables, but there really should be a way to do this from within the application, if there is not already.
