Dashboard Projects View

Hi,

I was just curious—Has there's been any consideration to adding a project view on the dashboard that would provide users with full visibility of project information (i.e. project status, budget, start/end dates, etc)?
I currently use Project Pier, but as my team and work load grows, I think a feature like this would be super useful for quickly monitoring projects from a high-level.

Anyhow, just a thought.

I love this app! Keep up the great work!

Yes, I think this would be nice!

I would find this a very useful addition. Please consider.

I'm not really clear what you would like to see changed or added. What is missing from teh current dashboard that you would like to have?

@Ryan Take a look at CopperProject (http://www.copperproject.com/).
In the demo, if you click on "Projects," you'll see that they provide a high-level view of all projects; including the progress, status, budget, start/end dates, etc for each; making it super easy to quickly get a sense of where all your projects are at. How is this different from PP? PP does not really give you a high-level view of project status. Rather it gives you a summary of recent activity of every project. Make sense?

I think it would be a sweet feature.

Either way, still loving PP!

For me, ProjectPier's take on project management seems to be to cut out all of the high level analysis and concentrate on the lower level collaboration, adopting an agile methodology. Thus why there is a distinct lack of charts, progress bars, and other analysis tools.

Which is great - apart from the fact that there isn't really a super easy way to export all of your data if you wanted to examine it in a higher level analysis tool.

Personally i am looking forward to the incorporation of the plugin system into ProjectPier, which should provide an easy conduit for solving the "I like Projectpier but i wish it also included X" issue. :)
